Another new restoration which made it’s debut appearance at Flying Legends 2015 was Seafire III PP972. This aircraft is the only flying example of a Merlin powered variant of the carrier born Spitfire.

Rolled out in early 2015 this aircraft performed at select events in 2015 in the hands of Richard Grace and Dave Puleston.
