Following on from yesterday’s closing post for the Warbird Tails 2018 advent calendar I wanted to take some time this evening to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas and hope that you have all had a great day. I certainly have with a fair few aviation themed gifts that will no doubt provide further inspiration and content for this site over the next 12 months. It is hard to believe that 12 months have come round again since the last time we were here. It has certainly been a busy 12 months! As a Christmas round-up, this post features all of the new arrivals on the scene in 2018.

I’ve decided that I may as well keep up this post-a-day momentum through the festive period and will wrap up this years Airshow Moments over the next few days before a top 5 shows post later in the week. I’ll then finish 2018 with a look forward to some of the new and exciting restorations due to join the scene next year, not to mention my plans for this website which hopefully will see things grow once again.
