While not strictly an airshow, the event held on the 15th September at Goodwood was an undoubted highlight of the airshow season. Those in attendance saw over 30 World War 2 aircraft take to the skies including 6 Hurricanes and the Bristol Blenheim. I will be putting up a full post on this wonderful event … Continue reading Airshow Moments 2015 #17 – Goodwood Battle of Britain Day

Duxford Battle of Britain Anniversary Airshow – 19th and 20th September 2015
The last major airshow of 2015 came with Duxford’s Battle of Britain anniversary show in late September. RAF Museum Hendon – “Our Finest Hour” 14th September 2015

Headcorn Battle Of Britain Airshow – 11th July 2015
Anniversary years always bring about some interesting new events, some are one offs, while some remain and build following impressive debuts. Personally I hope that the recent airshow at Headcorn turns out to be in the latter category. Regular readers of this site will know that Headcorn is my local airfield and I have grown … Continue reading Headcorn Battle Of Britain Airshow – 11th July 2015
Biggin Hill Festival of Flight – 13th June 2015
Driving up to Biggin Hill in decidedly gloomy conditions didn’t bode well, heading down the M20 the clouds and mist were even covering the lower ground, I hated to think what it would be like up on the “bump”. Things weren’t quite as bad upon arrival however, while the skies were grey and the clouds were … Continue reading Biggin Hill Festival of Flight – 13th June 2015
