It has been a while since I have put a post up so I wanted to let you all know I’m very much still here and still posting! I’m just taking the time to make sure I have plenty of great material to share with all my readers over the next few months.
We are just entering that wonderful time of year where airshow participation lists are starting to appear and anticipation starts to increase ahead of the next new year.
The concerns I raised regarding the CAA’s new charging proposals are still very much in the forefront of everyone’s minds but this week at least brought the good news that RAF Scampton are likely to be holding an airshow next year.
Warbird Tails event reports should be starting in March with planned visits to events at Old Warden and Sywell. I also look forward to celebrating the Spitfire’s 80th birthday on the 5th March.
For today, I thought I would take the opportunity to dig through some of my unused photographs from last year (of which there are plenty!), specifically those of the Hawker Hurricane. I’m sure I’ll feature plenty of other types across the year but this seemed as good a place as any to start! So until next time, please enjoy one of Hawker’s finest.
